Family has always been a priority for Pappoe, which is one of the main reasons he chose to play on the Plains. It was guys like Deshaun Davis, Montavious Atkinson, Darrell Williams and his former coach Travis Williams who were “essential” to making Auburn feel like family to him during the recruiting process.
After a staff overhaul, he has stayed the course, building new relationships with the current coaching staff and enjoying every moment he has left with his teammates.
“Coach (Bryan) Harsin and I have a really good relationship and talk a lot. He’s a good guy and he makes us want to play,” Pappoe said. “These guys are my brothers for life. reach out no matter what. We do everything together. I will miss the brotherhood, because it is the only time in our lives when we will all be together all the time.
Closeness may change, but the love Pappoe has for his teammates, coaches, fans and the Auburn community will never change.
“Thank you for everything, Auburn family. All the love and support over the past four years has been amazing,” he said. You’re going to have everything I have Last year didn’t go as planned for me, but I’m going to make up for it tenfold.
